I am an Ottawa mom to two crazy little peeps Woo and Goose, wife to my favourite geek, Willy.  I am still figuring out where I am going with this blog, its is part a journal for my family and our adventures, part an outlet for me to talk about life, and maybe even a place to post some of my pictures – I take a lot of those.  I am also a little bit of a Tomboy, and love to play and watch sports.  My spare time is spent playing in the garden, cooking or baking, drinking wine, and sadly vegging far more than I should be.

Professionally, I am a victim advocate.  It is a job that I love, and am honoured to be able to do.  I might include brief pieces of that in here too.

Found your blog today and have loved catching up on your posts so far! Tomboy, sports fan and a hubby that plays in Ottawa hockey beer leagues – sounds like we have a few things in common! Count me in as your 9th reader :)

I have to say you take beautiful photos! Can I ask what type of camera and lens you use?

Thank you Natasha! I appreciate the compliments :) I shoot with a Sony a-850, and generally use my f1.4 50mm or f2.8 24-70mm lens (both sony lenses). I am glad you are enjoying my photos :)
